I was born raised in Arkansas. I ventured out to the Pacific Northwest and never looked back.
I watch babies be born! From the first birth I saw I knew I wanted to be involved in women's health care and birth advocacy. I currently work as a Labor and Delivery Nurse in Portland, Oregon. I am also studying to get my doctorate in Midwifery.
I love to watch birth, talk about birth and podcast about birth.
I also got married and divorced before 30. This is a huge part of my life and story. How to grieve, live, hope and love again. LOVE WINS! I believe there is power in everyone's story and we have something to learn from hearing and sharing our own.

I am a mother, writer, and birth junkie/doula-in-training. I have always had a deep love for birth and the journey of becoming a mother. My own birth experiences and the connections I've formed with mothers through my writing are the inspiration for pursuing birth work and the creation of this podcast.
As a stillbirth and multiple-miscarriage survivor, I care deeply about the voices of those who have experienced loss and who also know there is more of their story yet to be told. I believe in the innate power and wisdom of womanhood, and in helping women connect to these through their intuition.
I am currently pregnant with our rainbow baby, due in February 2017, and live with my husband and 7 year old son in Portland, OR.
